Unlock Motorola V551 :: MotoPhoenix software tutorial
Unlock Software : Service Provider Lock, Sim Lock, Security & User Code
Motophoenix unlocking software allows users to remove Service Provider/Sim phone lock and
resets Security/User Code on Motorola A/C/V/T Series phones.
Unlocking takes less than one minute. No disassembling or special technical knowledge
is required.
Software Controls and Explanations
- Progress Report Window
- Name & Password : Enter Username and Password
- Phone & Model : Choose your phone model from the dropdown list
- Unlock Menu :
Direct Unlock - Direct SIM/SP unlock phone
Chip Backup - Creates a FULL backup of your phone for future restoration
Software Restore - Restore dead and software damaged phones
Info Read - Read Software and Flex phone! As well as user and security codes
Check Possibility to Unlock - Check if your phone can be unlock with MotoPhoenix BEFORE purchase

Minimum requirements
- A Pentium processor-based PC or compatible computer
- At least 128MB of RAM
- Windows 2000/2003/XP (This service will not work with Windows 95/98/ME)
- Internet connection
- USB data cable

Check Unlock Possibility
Before attempting to use unlocking credit you should use the free
(no credit will be used up) "Info Read" or "Check Unlock Possibility" function to verify
that the application can correctly communicate with your phone and your phone is
unlockable prior to purchase:
- Open the software
- Enter free use User name and Password
User : MotoPhoenix
Pass : test
Login info is case sensitive
- Click "Connect"
Problem connecting to the server?
- Select your phone model from the dropdown box [3] and highlight
"Info Read" or "Check Unlock Possibility"from the box below [4].
Note: The "Check Unlock Possibility" option only appears on phone models that have
various firmwares; some of which may not be supported yet.
If you do not see this option it means this model is fully supported by the software,
however you should continue with this test using the "Info Read" option
to verify proper communication with the phone.
- Connect your phone and switch it on
- Wait until your phone has finished booting up
- Click "Start"
- Wait for the software to display all the information about your phone in the left window.
If the Check Unlock Possibility option was used, the application will inform you if
your phone is unlockable
Phone Unlock
You need to purchase a credit to use this function. Credit will be deducted.
- Open the software
- Enter User name and Password [2]
- Click "Connect"
Problem connecting to the server?
- Select your phone model from the dropdown box [3] and highlight
"Unlock" from box below [4]
- Connect your phone and switch it on
- Wait until your phone has finished booting up
- Click "Start" [6]
- Wait until the output window [1] says "Verified success", and stops
Note : On some models, client will read the unlock codes rather than directly
unlock the handset. If this happens with your phone, take a note of the unlock code.
Disconnect your phone from the cable. Put a SIM card into the phone that is NOT currently
accepted. You should be asked to "Enter subsidy code". Enter that code you made a note of
earlier and press 'OK'. Your phone is now unlocked.
